There are other low energy standards such as EnerPhit and PHI Low Energy Building (LEB):
These are not Passive House standard, but are still a high standard of energy efficiency. Last year, following a pilot, Cambridge City Council opted for their own "" for council-owned properties that is slightly lower than Passive House but higher than LEB. They found that fulfilling some Passive House requirements was disproportionately costly for the benefit.
